These articles were published in a variety of banking industry publications, including The Arkansas Community Banker, Bank Notes, Hoosier Banker, The Texas Independent Banker, Western Banking, and The Wyoming Banker. He was a guest speaker at the Independent Community Bankers Association Seminar regarding management strategies for a profitable community bank and the Southeastern School of Banking at Vanderbilt University regarding liquidity and capital planning issues.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Webb was a National Bank Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in its Austin, Texas office and later in Washington, D.C. His government service primarily involved identifying and regulating troubled national banks and enforcing administrative actions, including Memoranda of Understanding, Formal Agreements, and Orders to Cease and Desist.
Mr. Webb graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration concentrating in finance, accounting, and economics from the University of Louisiana. He also has earned a Master of Science concentrating in corporate finance and commercial banking from the E. J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Texas Tech University School of Law.
