Mr. Ducklo is a member of the Board of Directors of the Memphis based law firm of Gerrish McCreary Smith, P.C., Attorneys. Mr. Ducklo’s legal practice places special emphasis on community bank mergers and acquisitions, bank holding company formations and use, federal and state securities laws, bank regulatory matters, and general corporate law. His main area of practice is securities law. He has worked with clients on a variety of securities issues including stock repurchase programs, going private transactions, issuer tender offers, mergers and acquisitions, stock and debt offerings, dividend reinvestment plans and registration of stock option plans. He also assists clients with general securities compliance issues, including filings associated with insider transactions and drafting of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and SEC-filed proxy materials. Mr. Ducklo also has experience in banking and bank regulatory matters. He has assisted in the formation of over 20 bank holding companies and has helped convert several banks and bank holding companies into Subchapter S corporations. He has worked on troubled bank matters and has experience negotiating with bank regulators. Mr. Ducklo’s practice also includes general corporate matters including formation of corporations, partnerships, and LLCs. He has assisted with the implementation of anti-takeover defenses and has provided general legal advice to various corporations.

Mr. Ducklo received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University and his law degree from the University of Tennessee. He is a member of the Tennessee and Memphis Bar Associations and is a graduate of the Paul W. Barret, Jr. School of Banking.
